In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Detroit; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Michigan are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 11:30 am–9:30 pm. It is closed on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. I got the family meal for 4. You get a lot of food for the price. The only complaint I have is the food is honestly over seasoned. Taste like β€œslap yo momma” seasoning in my gravy. Chinese food has a lot of components, the ingredients speak for themselves. I would just say tone down on the seasoning in the food. Without the heavy seasoning the food would be 10/10 instead of 7/10. Would I be back…. It’s a back up option. I’m extremely picky with Chinese food. There’s literally only ONE I travel from east to west to get.

Please steer clear of this establishment I first ordered a blue crab broil only received two blue crabs broken in pieces stating I was charged for two pounds. When asked for it to be placed on scale the man yelled at me they didn’t have a scale on sight first red flag. Then on this past Saturday my husband got the family meal of 4 with shrimp fried rice and three meat selections we asked for and paid for extra onion on rice ands on sesame chicken. When I arriving home the rice was not fried it was blowed up like instant rice it had no flavor no vegetables no onions and the onions we paid for was not on anything. After calling back and being placed on hold twice they couldn’t give me a reason for the over boiled rice or the missing onions. Food was not at all good I would suggest the Chinese place on Joy rd and greenfield there food and rice is flavorful and you get what you pay for.

The customer service was great. The food not so much. Ordered a veggie egg foo young and it tasted like the plaza it was located in…dirty. Haven’t had chinese food and a while and it reminded me why. Idk why the food tasted dirty but I wont be back. Im not sure if they are washing their pans or not. Good portions for the price of $12, but not for me.

Absolute worst food ever!!! They give huge portions but the food is disgusting. The rice taste just dirty, no flavor, seasme chicken taste like a frozen prebreaded option. The Hibachi plate with chicken, steak, and shrimp was just as worse.. no flavor, ton of flavorless meats overcooked veggies to include cabbage over the same fried rice. Rice is the staple to me...it has to be good if nothing else is. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. The place is clean and located in a shady corner of the earth with plenty of parking.
